MTX not working

Well, MTX isn't working and I'm being ramped back up on Prednisone. Rheumy is moving me to Imuran after doing some testing tomorrow. Does it ever stop?
I started getting a patch of purpura on my legs, had a few nose bleeds and joint pain is coming back. So ramping back up on Pred to create a bridge to the Imuran.
Anybody else have to switch to Imuran and have some success with it?

I am one of those people I that have a reaction to everything they try. Maybe its just all in my head cuz I don't want to take it but if there's side effects ,I'm going to get them..currently just on 5mg. of pred.Getting blood work next week and going to the Cleveland Clinic on the 29th.Praying everything stays the same if not better. I'm trying to do this with taking more supplements and watching the food intake (not all the junk I used to eat )I keep thinking there's a better way then all this junk meds they are experimenting us with !
