    A friend of mine from America, has just been awarded over $10 million for mis diagnosis of her subglottic stenosis. Just to let you guys know...

    Same old story. She went to the dr, who persistantly told her she had asthma... this went on for years, and she ended up with a permenant trachie because of the damage caused. Her doctor was struck off, and this lady's life has changed for ever.

    This precident will help everyone else who claims now too, I guess! So, if you're not sure, get legal advice!

    I claimed against my doctor in 2010, but not for as much as this lady did LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

    Holy smokes. She must have suffered severe damage as a result. You don't get a settlement like that just for a permanent trach. (Not to say that a trach isn't awful)

    My mistake, she's from Canada.

    She had her doctor striken off, and sued the hospital too. Talk about life changing!
