Natalie, we didn't get to catch up with her that day because she was just too crook after the surgery. A couple of us just went out for coffee instead.

It is now two weeks post surgery and we are catching up on Saturday. I think there will be about 10 weggies.

I have seen before and after shots of her nose and the results are wonderful.........she was very battered and brusied but now it is just her ribs that are still a bit sore.

She has previously had her nose done with cartlidge from her ear but it collapsed a few years later.

She actually travelled to Melbourne from the Whitsundays, to have the operation done by a specialist plastic and reconstructive surgeon, Mr. Tony (Anthony) Holmes.

If you have facebook - join the wegeners granulomatosis australia group and you can see her photo's (it is a private group) and ask her some questions - I'm sure she will be glad to reply.
