Blood shot eyes

Hello, everyone! We will finally be taking my Mother to the specialist this Thursday. She is suffering from extreme weakness, blot clot in the leg, and now she has a blood shot eye again and has had a mild bloody nose. She still has no appetite at all.
I am afraid I am putting to much emphasis on seeing the specialist and I'll be let down when we do see him. I just want her better!

Make sure you take a list of questions with you. Include symptoms you've noticed, concerns you have and general questions about treatment, prognosis, etc.... The more organized you are, the more answers you'll get. It's a long process for the doc to get all the info s/he needs, so streamline what you can ahead of time.

It's also a good idea to bring a voice recorder and listen later.

I assume they've done proper diagnostic tests to make sure the blood clot hasn't traveled (to lungs, brain, etc...)? A definite question for the specialist.

Blood shot eyes is another Wegener's symptom. I used to look like something from a horror film!

I have one right now that makes me look like Charles Manson on a good day. Blood vessels breaking in my eye is one consequence of WG. The one I have right now happened two days ago. Too much time on the computer? p.s. you look more like Freddy, though I can't see your hands. Ha!
