Phil they call me because i have my INR done at my gp s and i send my record book with it
they send it back by post but if i need to change the dose the same day as test results they ring
which is good thing as you get a chance to ask questions about the result if needed
i hope that makes sense
will give you full update when ive had in done , keep expecting the phone to go and say its cancelled as main route to hospital has been blocked the last two mornings
For those who like to see research, this is a good study by JHU about warfarin and cataract surgery. It concludes what you've been told, Dee-- no problem with staying on warfarin for the surgery. It also makes a point of saying how extremely safe cataract surgery is, which I thought might be comforting for you to hear!
