Default Headed to Mayo Clinic tomorrow

    Hello all,
I have not posted in a while but have been trying to keep up with reading some posts
I have my follow up appointment this week at Mayo with the usual: urine, blood work, chest x-ray, breathing treatments, ENT, and then I see my pulmonologist, Dr. Keogh. I will also be seeing a high risk OB doc so I can ask questions about having another baby.
I hope everyone is doing well.

I thought that is what you meant. Good luck. How far a drive is that for you?

What did you learn at Mayo?

Anyone going there next week? We will be there for three or four days at beginning of the week.

I'm back home! I did urine test, blood work, chest x ray, ent visit, breathing tests, and saw pulmonologist on Wednesday. Everything looked good and my pulmonologist, Dr. Keogh, said no more Rituxan treaments for now! Just check my blood and urine every 3 months, mostly to watch for any kidney involvement since that can sneak up on you. My breathing tests were same as last time (Aug 2011) - my subglottic stenosis looked good from ENT - my nose probably looked the same - still scarring and mucous.. but no inflamation or open sores.
On Thursday, I met with 2 high risk OB doctors. One of them is currently treating 4 pregnant patients with Wegeners! I got the ok to try and have another child.
I will have my high risk ob doc treat me here once I get pregnant. If I get a flare, I will go to Mayo to be seen.
I am a happy camper for now
