Wow--an hour seems very fast. Most cases of sub-conjunctivitis take a few days to heal. They are ugly, but don't mean too much in isolation. On the other hand, they do go hand-in-hand (so to speak) with serious vasculitis, so should always be viewed as a strong marker for disease activity.

Sorry, I meant it does take a few days to heal...I can look ok and look again in an hour and blood red! This is 2nd one in 2 weeks!
Yep, it happens to me now and then too. Looks like someone jabbed a knife in the white of my eye for a day or so. It's happening less frequently now that my meds seem to be working better.

I have bleeding in my right retina called Non-Ischemic Central Retinal Vein Occlusion. But I my eye does not look red.

At the beginning of flares, my eyes go red and only get better with steroid drops, but I never had them clear up this fast. its mostly 3 to 4 weeks not an hour!

Mine only started clearing back to white once I started using steriod drops. These drops were the last option, only after we tried every other drop out there first.
My doctor called it uveitis and then changed it to scleritis.
Some mornings now they are red and then it clears by lunchtime after taking my pred

Anyone notice change associated with weather, meaning eyes/sinus.
Sinuses for me, not so much on the eyes.
