These cold symptom all started hours after IV Cytoxan on Tuesday. I have always had very mild colds. I hope this one will follow suit.

For me, the colds I get know and the colds I used to have before Wegs aren't really that much different, the difference for me lies in the fact that I now catch colds like one of those sticky fly catchers!

I get way more colds now that I ever used to, before Wegs I hardly ever had a cold at all, now it's almost like as if I go out shopping I'll take home a cold along with my groceries... Mind you, I am very generous with the colds that are really bad, I like to share them with my family! lol

Looks like I dodged the bullet this time with the cold. The first day I was feeling pretty bad. I have used Zicam in the past and decided to give it a try this time. I took a RapidMelt tablet every 3 hours and here I am 4 days later and all symptoms are gone.

A trademarked zinc formulation. It is true that most autoimmune disease sufferers are zinc deficient, the causes and implications are rather unclear.

Great that your cold was mild. since getting wegs I only got 4 colds, 3 very mild but the last while not too bad made me lose most of my smell and taste. I am just (3 months later) getting more of my smell and taste back. Question for other smell losers - when your smell started to come back were you having strange smells coming from perfume and some foods. Its kind of moldy sickly smell and taste.
