CellCept and hair loss

I am currently on 2000mg of CellCept and since starting it my hair has been getting thinner and thinner. Today after taking a shower there was more than a handful of hair in the drain and my brush is now full after each brushing. Has anyone else experienced this? At the rate its been increasing Im going to be patchy by the end of the week and I guess Ill just buzz it when it gets too bad. Was really hoping to avoid this side effect since it doesn't seem to be very common.

Wow, that's really weird. How much pred are you on? Any other meds?

Recently down to 10mg of pred and no other medications at the moment.

I too lost half of my hair when I was on Cellcept. I think it has something do with tapering the prednisone too. Don't worry, it will slow down and evenually stop. My hair is actually back to normal, well close to it.
