Default A list of Vasculitis Doctors for Canadians

Here is a list of doctors in Canada who are vasculitis specialists. Some might be researchers only, but I think most are practicing doctors. Hope this helps in the quest to get the right doctor for those who are unsure. BTW, there are two pages so if you don't see your province, check out the second page.

That's because he's not part of the CanVasc group. I'm sure there are more out there, but this is a list of for sure's that are involved with this group and are working with vasculitis as their main interest. I thought I'd post it for people who are searching for a doctor in Canada and in their province, who specializes in vasculitis and can't find one in their area. These docs are a good place to start (and in my case - finish)

I know I would have loved to have this list last year. I called the Vasculitis Foundation of Canada and they weren't much help (I am going to be a negative nene here, but I have found them to be not much help with anything I've asked, and quite unpleasant to boot) so this new site with the docs is a godsend for Canadians as far as I'm concerned, as there was no way of finding Vasculitis docs before. You wouldn't believe the excersise I went through to find my doc (who is on that list).

Totaly agree Marta abaout the vasc foundation canada, not a lot of help there. Thanks for the post, it should be a sticky note for easy reference. Wish I had this 5 years ago,

In my research for an upcoming appointment (plan to ask my doc for a second-opinion rheumatologist--not a second opinion on my diagnosis, but regarding how to better control/treat my headaches and fatigue because I'm not getting any relief), I found this updated list of specialists from the Vasculitis Foundation:
