Appointment with Dr U SPeck at Mayo in February
ok i have an appointment with the Doc at mayo's new clinic February ...wish me luck...saw cardio today..still have a little water around my heart....get CT of chest abdomen and pelvis tomorrow..wish me luck....so wish I could say I feel better...but don't so hopefully this trip to Mayo in Minneapolis/Rochester will get me much needed answers and relief....thanks for the heads up Mark

Welcome to the club! I recommend the Kahler Hotel. It is a Rochester landmark. If you go out for a drive, Silver Lake in town is heated by the power plant and does not freeze. This is a rarity in Minnesota to say the least. There are usually great flocks if geese there.

Got some great news today. Now that I am married I switched to my wife's health insurance, so now the Mayo is IN NETWORK. This means my visit next week will only cost $25!!!!

My sister in law in from Minn so I will stay with her mother...She and nd my baby nephew will drive me up on Sunday and then we will go to rochester on Monday ...she said it is not that far of a drive from her Mom's house.....My insurance will cover it too.....yeah.....let me know how your visit goes.. have a little over a month to get copies of all my medical records ...wish me luck ...have my CT of chest abd and pelvis today...waiting on results.....if you can recommend any good cheap eatery I would appreciate it .....Have a great day......counting down til the 21st of february

I am staying with family in Minn....They say Rochester is not to far away.....but thanks for the heads up on the hotel.......any good eateries that are cheap you can recommend would be great...My sister in law will take me...so i get time alone with my baby nephew....Her mom lives up there and has opened her house to me while we are up there.....so I have over a month to get copies of all my medical records and set up o2 too be delivered up there or see if i can get a suit case concentrator...wish me luck...let me know how your appointment goes...have a great weekend....Just finished my CT of my chest , abd and pelvis...hope it all comes out well...i will say the oral contrast is nasty no matter how cold you get it before you drink it..lol

Ok is it Febrauary 21 yet....i have been feeling lousy....went to pcp...liver enzymes up double what they were 2 weeks ago...so going off cellcept immediatly per WG specialist...also have a red bumpy rash speading all over by body ...started on my arms...docs are not sure what it is,,,so we are calling it WG rash....lucky me ...not only do I have a round fat face...no neck...hugh upper gut ...but also now a lovely rash...i tild my husband it was the measel...lol mean i know but the priceless expression was worth it...he has been back in denial with my WG so I could not resist
