Chimera?

I wonder if Weggies are genetic chimeras. If so it might explain why one's immune system attacks one's own body. It also might explain why chemotherapy works; attrition favors the majority genetic profile.

Further, it could explain the tendency of wegener's to attack certain subsystems in the body; they may be more prone to chimerical variance.

Just a thought.

This probably would not be fetomaternal micro-chimerism because it effects men and women in roughly equal numbers.

Hey Mark, keep thinking you might just figure this out! I am hoping our book will get us closer figuring out what causes WG disease.
