    Default Parasitic Worms

Interesting article, regarding Ulcerative Colitis and a very non-standard treatment. I find some of the alternative treatment ideas pretty interesting.

Man finds extreme healing eating parasitic worms - CNN.com

Interesting that part of what they do is shut down the immune system.

    That made a great read!

It is only on a site like ours that you could sell such an article for bedtime reading.

Wow, cool article. The medical doctors may be poo-pooing it now (no pun intended) but consider that leeches and maggots are now being used for a variety of medical conditions.

Have ya seen also recently in London (Camden) they are having fish tanks filled with little fish that eat the dead skin from your feet. Saw it on the news...i know its not medical but still interesting none the less!

Funny how all the old remedies come back in the end. Leeches are becoming popular again too,

Oh yeah, leeches are mainstream medicine now. FDA approved and everything. Medical maggots, too.

I saw the way the little fishies work when visiting last month in London. Amazing but also hurtfull if the fishies go further then the dead skin. This can be quite comfortably done in the old fashioned way without paying the high fees and abusing the poor fish.
Sangye, I dont know about the worms, can we have little hamsters instead?
