Default elevated resistive indices on kidney ultrasound

So, A.J. still has blood in his urine and its also very foamy. He had an ultrasound of his kidneys which cam back "no significant abnormality" but yet states that the resistive indices appear slightly elevated at .78 and .71. Doctor said "no big deal" Thoughts? cause it concerns me.

jeriorleans, they measure the resistance to perfusion of blood in an organ and take the in and outflow measurement. To consider it dangerous it would have to be in 80's. Discuss with your doc that you have concerns and would like him to explain fully. Never be afraid to ask for full and detailed expalanation. It is far better to know than to worry.
