Thanks all. I still read periodically but not as much as I might like :)
I'm doing mostly pretty good. Having some ankle issues from the long term prednisone, but overall pretty healthy. I've just been dealing with work stuff and trying to stay sane :)
It's been a while since I checked in. Just wanted to drop a line to say hello.
Lisa, one thing I recently found was that I had low ferritin. My other anemia scores had always been close to normal, but the ferritin was about half of the minimum and 1/5 of the optimal range. ...
Hey all...I got information from Dr Villa Forte last time I was in that there was an alternative to Prednisone coming that was pretty far into trials. Works a completely different way...so we may...
Thanks drz. Hope things are well for you.
Hey guys...know I've been lying low for a while. Had a question to see if anyont has had similar issues. I have recently started having odd itching and occasional burning sensations (probably 2-3...
Sergio,
If you were on Steroids for that duration I'd say it's quite possible that it could have slowed progression to that point. As a vet myself I'm not super confident in the overall quality...
Sorry you are having the pain VDUB. hopefully you get some relief soon.
Hey DRZ congrats on 6 years. I hit it around the middle of June. Diagnosis-wise. It's weird...it doesn't seem like that long, and at the same time feels like it's been forever.
Not as active...
VDub,
I'm just not active on here as much as I used to be so just seeing this. I hope everything goes well to you and sorry you are going through more issues.
Congrats Hammy
Honestly I think it's probably ok for the most part until you start getting infections that can't be treated as easily. Certainly at some point our body stops responding as well to antibiotics as...
So US is generally MDY formatting, I believe European formatting tends toward DMY? ISO is YMD which is what they should use for anything online, but frequently people default to one of the other...
Also as a side comment. CC will be willing to work with your current doctors as well. I come up from Columbus to see them and I wouldn't exchange their knowledge for someone local now in regards to...
Congratulations to you and your husband!
Good luck on the new knee as well as staying off the MTX. :)
They did, but I had an appointment scheduled the same day at OSU in columbus, so I'm going with the OSU appointment. I've had pretty good luck with my OSU doctors for (other than my ER visit lol)
Had some elevated bloodwork this last infusion. Lipase was elevated...they ordered that because I complained of some stomach discomfort after my second infusion. No idea what is going on with that...
Just coming out of a Flare myself Pete. I'm not on treatment with only RTX and Prednisone...I guess that's a new thing they are trying. Hope things get under control quick for you.
Sorry for your bad day Jaha. I could only google those, but after googling Wegs back in the day I'm reluctant to do so. :) I hope you are able to rest up.
She did take me off. Evidently Cellcept and RTX don't play nice together. Though I didn't ask for details.
You are probably right Jaha, it's probably a combination of the flare along with the...
So they had me stop CellCept in preparation for my upcoming infusion. ANyone stopped cellcept cold turkey. I almost feel like i'm having a bit of withdrawl as the amount of fatigue has spiked since...
Well the CT showed nothing substantial in changes...though that makes me think the way I feel doesn't make much sense. My spleen was slightly enlarged which was new. Probably from the drugs we are...
Thanks Alysia, still praying for you as well.
CT Scan set for tomorrow morning. No idea how long I'll be waiting for the insurance to approve the RTX.
Couple things that i forgot after my CC...
