Sorry to hear you are not feeling better. I'm on Rituxan and high pred and it's really helped me a lot. I'm sorry you have to weigh the pros and cons of medicine due to fertility concerns. That must be a big stressor. I'm almost 50 so I'm not factoring fertility into my decisions.
I'm in so nh and am being treated at mass genl Hosp in Boston. You said Boston dr's are wanting you on a diff treatment plan? Wishing you wisdom as you navigate this disease as a young woman.

Yeah, brigham and women's, they said methotrexate and high dose prednisone. I have my CT tomorrow and will find out what changes are in store.
Today has been absolutely gorgeous!! I am just north of Concord myself.

Hi ohitsacrimebaby, just checking in to see how you are doing. How did ct go and did they make any changes to your treatment/meds? I hope you are starting to feel better!! Are you still being treated for the histoplasmosis? You mentioned being in tremendous pain before. Is it joint pain?
My GPA is responding to treatment which is great - found out I need a kidney biopsy yesterday tho. I have a mass on my kidney (not GPA related) that they are pretty sure is benign. Gotta be 100% sure tho before treating it.
I've just started tapering down my pred and feel shaky all morning and early afternoon. Other than that and puffy face im doing good. Struggled with anxiety last weekend but am more peaceful now.
Hang in there!
