More maintenance stuff and things

Hi peeps
In the next week or so this site will be moving to another server. The current one is old and crusty and giving me grief so it's time to swap it with another one (same but newer).

"What does this mean and why should I care?" Great question!

It means that the site will be down for at least two periods of time - one for about an hour so that I can prepare for the move and the other for anywhere between 30 minutes and a few days depending on how smoothly (or otherwise) the move goes. I have people doing the actual move for me which is great and means I will retain my youthful crop of hair that much longer due to the reduction in stress :)

Will advise when the pre-work and move dates are locked in.

Thank you, Andrew, for all you do. I hope you have a glimmer of what this forum means to me, and others. Lifeline, lighthouse, roadmap, coffeeshop, crisis line - take your pick. :rolleyes1:

There's a system warning/error message that appears when you click through notifications -> likes received at top right of the screen. It's not terminal and I'll be fixing it sometime today :)

Thank you, andrew, from the bottom of my heart, for handling the forum. if it was not this forum, I would have never get to know my sweet Phil. and this Forum helped him to survive and stay alive so many times. this place is life saving. in many ways. and it is thanks to you.

I even suspect that Phil is keeping a special place for you near him in heaven, to welcome you when the time will come, in order to thank you, for all your precious doing for us.
being almost a saint, if not perfectly a saint, I suspect that Phil's word up there, is strong enough.
