skin nodules or lumps on body

Any body out there have lumps under skin all over their legs or other body parts?
I initially had this when I flared and they have come and gone and now back again.
Is this serious?

I just started to have some two days ago little red/ dark pink bumps....not alot. Some of them itch too. I discussed this with my WG specialist because I had this in May and now they are back...and I thought i was in remission?

Hi thanks for the replies, didnt cover it Jack, my lumps are under skin on legs and arms, they dont itch, no rash, they were also in the breast and under the arm at one stage, they resolved but have come back again in the legs and still have some on my arms. Not in the joints. They dont hurt. Any ideas??? Has anyone got anythink similiar or spoken to th docs about them??

I think some lumps are common with Wegs, but you should definitely have your rheumy take a look. If s/he is stumped, double check it with a dermatologist.

I do not have that, just a bump on my leg that wont go away (I fell down a few steps a few months ago.) Let us know if you figure out what it may be.

Aylasnan, hi. This freaked me out, seeing old members, some here, some gone there... Wow. So to answer the question on lumps? Or bumps, or granlomas, or whatever they are. Yes, I do. I have what looks like a granuloma on the side of my left hand. I'd post a picture, but can not upload hear. Yet. It looks like a perfect square, under my skin, looking like its stretching the skin outward... No real pain, unless I'm leaning on it some how...Wg, is a trip. Not to bora, bora that's for sure... I have multiple what they call Lypomas. I have had a couple removed they always check neg. for cancer. Don't know if they could be related to Wegs. not many of the Drs. around here are familiar with Wegener's. Hopefully the Wegs; specialist I see next month can shed some light on all that is going on.

Did they check them for Wegener's? Biopsy is the most positive diagnosis for Wegener's.

Are they hard, soft, normal, odd color, loose or tightly connected to the (remaining) teeth, bleeding?

Birdie, hi. I was first referring to the thing on my hand. But my gums, I guess its reffered to as strawberry gums. Swollen, slightly. All top teeth are perfect, strong ect. Just gums swollen with a strawberry look. Bottom teeth a disaster, thank God, its not noticeable, as my mouth is small. Well that's up for debate, but you can dig, what I'm saying... Bottom, where blown out, and no pain. Gum is gone, as is a good amount of bone, all in under a year. I knew this would happen, and begged for help, but no help. Take pride in my teeth, cleaning every three to six months, ect. So this was a tuff pill to swallow, and hatred for doctors formed here to a very strong level, as it could have been stopped... Thank God my top teeth are all there, and pretty strong. But for how long? Who the hell knows. No longer worry about anything.... Deb.

Sharon, yes. But I don't mind pain, im pretty used to it, and its not all bad, depending on where you're referring to. Im kinda joshing here, but don't mind pain. Don't Realy dig the leg pain though.. I have a high tolerance to pain, so doesn't bother me that much. Havingmy bottom teeth blown out, with gum and bone? This infuriates me... No bleeding either? Weird huh? In the beginning they bled all the time, now no bloods left? Deb.

Is the gum thing Weg's? I have so much to learn it seems. I said to my Daughter it feels like i'm being attacked all over.. my rhinitis problems started at least 10 years ago... could that be Wegeners?

Sharon, oh yes! I was always at my dentist for cleanings, ect. I'm kinda ocd about this, and they were perfect. My symptoms all happening at once, with dramatic over night gum changes made it obvious. To bad not for the medical world. So I've payed dearly for it.... Deb.

Sounds like a reduced version of my original gum issue. I got diagnosis and treatment. I got BITCHY! (sort of, more like insistant, with a side of begging) Did anyone suggest that? Deb, get off your butt and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

Granulomatosis can occur in any cells which utilize mitosis (multiplying by cellular division). Nearly all soft parts of the body are vulnerable. The higher the rate of mitosis... the more likely to result in granular cells.
