Mds!!

I'm a member of this group, I was diagnosed with Wegeners in 2013.
I was just diagnosed yesterday with MDS(Myelodysplastic Syndromes) it's a disease of the bone marrow. I honestly believe I ended up with this because of the Imuran that I've been on for almost three years!!! Has anyone gone through this, just curious!!

I’ve not heard of that but I’m less than 2 years in. Watching though as I’ve been on imuran for maybe 20 months. 100 mg now as I’m almost off of prednisone.

My doc had told me not to worry, they had many others on higher doses with no issues but I didn’t have a feeling of the magnitude.

Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkYes, I was on dialysis for 2 months, my kidneys are only at 25%. That was three years ago. That's why I'm on Imuran. I'm afraid now that I have MDS it might set me up for another flare!
