Has anyone heard of or had experience with lung toxicity due to Rituxin?

Hi sister. What do you mean by lung toxicity ? How are you doing ?
I think that rtx can elavate the risk for infections, also lung infections. Please check this thread:

Hi Alysia - Rituximab-induced interstitial lung disease is a “rare” adverse effect after having rituxin - it is in the literature and presents as a form of pneumonitis.
I completed my 4th Rituxin dose in July and a few weeks later developed dry cough and my oxygen level was in the low 80s so needless to say I have been in hospital for over a week. Lots of testing and they do not think I have this but the sx sound very familiar to what I have been dealing with. I was diagnosed with multiple- lobar pneumonia and just finished a 7 day course of antibiotics.
Thanks for the link —
It is always something with this disease

Oh no, I am so sorry. I know someone who had this kind of reaction to rtx but she got the rtx for Lymphoma. She had recovered very well.
Are you feeling better after taking the antibiotics ?
Sending you prayers ❤❤❤
