Head Cold Medicine?

Hi folks,

I've been fighting a head cold for a couple of days. No fever, mostly sneezing and drainage (a little stopped up this morning when waking). And now sinus headache ...

I'm about a month or so since last Rituxin infusion, started on 7.5 mg Pred yesterday (been tapering from initial 60 in May), and taking AZA.

Any recommendations on safe way to cope? (I will message my doctor as well but don't expect to get a quick reply).

I use mucinex or Xicam with good results. I’m just now recovering from a head and chest cold. Took mucinex (12- hour dose) twice daily.

Yes Keith, I agree with Pete. I use Mucinex when I am want to get as much yucky stuff out of my lungs and sinuses as possible. Hope you are feeling better soon.
