I was wondering if anyone experiences strange, random, shooting head pain that travels from the sides of the head to the top? I am not sure if it is due to all the damage my ears have experienced or what? I would think those that have a lot of sinus issues might also experience this? I also have some at the base of the skull (I know this was extremely painful before dx) but I still have mild pains back there.

It could be neck or cranial misalignments and/or trigger points in the temporalis muscle. Base of the skull pain is most often due to upper cervical misalignments that pull on the tiny suboccipital muscles. That can cause local tenderness, tightness in the neck and tension headaches. Those muscles are tiny but can cause big symptoms.
