That looks like a good read Kirk. I read the first 3 paragraphs and will get to the rest when I'm less tired. I think it's great that a doctor cared enough to take the time to put his thoughts into writing, about what we go through with chronic disease and what his point of view reveals as he interacts with us and tries to make our lives better. I'd like to think they are all like him, even if they don't show it.
