Epstein-Barr titers

I went to my ENT today to follow-up for treatment. She gave me some medication and prednisone to help with the inflammation I have been having. She also said she wanted to check my Epstein Barr titer levels. Now, I have never heard of this for Wegeners and she left before I could question it. Has anyone else experienced this or know what the test shows?

The is the virus that causes Glandular Fever and also Chronic Fatigue.
I had Glandular Fever in my late 20's and it was one of the first things that they mentioned when I was first diagnosed.
