At last my lung nodule biopsy is booked for next Tuesday.

My ANCA test was negative, vascilitis tests were okay, however my rheumatoid factor is high.

Could it still be Wegeners? If it's a rheumatoid thing where does the chronic rhinitis fit in?

If the biopsy hits the right spot and yields granulomas, that should confirm the diagnosis. Chronic rhinitis can also be a symptom. Hope you get a conclusive diagnosis soon so your docs can treat you properly.

Upper respiratory problems are the classic Wegeners symptom. I'd be surprised to hear of any WG patient who had no upper respiratory issues.

It's great to hear that your biopsy is scheduled. When mine came back positive for granuloma it was a good thing since the other likely outcome was cancer. With treatment the granuloma was almost gone in a few months.
