I didn't do anything exciting. Was going to go out for a meal in the evening, but I was too tired. Me and the wife ended up getting a Whopper each and some fries to share that we brought home while we watched a movie on TV.

Hopefully next year I'll have more energy and do something exciting!

Thank you all for your birthday wishes and supportive messages about my kidneys!
I'm currently on the train heading back home from my short break to Edinburgh. Had a great time with the highlights being visiting the castle and watching the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. There were visitors from all over including USA, Canada, Australia, so it was similar to this forum (except for Isreal which I didn't notice, but which Alysia represents so well here)
