This implant will help those with RA which is autoimmune disease.... maybe it work for Wegener's patients. It maybe 10 years down the road. It will help with diabetes also. I have RA and Diabetes and since I have been on MTX and Humira I have been lucky enough to be able to get off of Insulin... hope it stays that way.

Hi, yes I saw the implant. I also have diabetes but since it works on the AI system, it might just help GPA. :) Where there is life, there is hope!

If vagus nerve stimulation blocks the cytokines that cause immune attacks, then it makes sense that acupuncture may help.

Andrew_ you got that right! The last eight months have been terrible, getting under control again thanks to CC. I ran into a friend that knew I had been through a lot with the WGS and shouts out you look fabulous! I find it hard to imagine you have been so sick! I just said "I know I thought the same thing when looking in the mirror this morning" and changed the subject!
