Anyone go to this doc by chance? Ive been so blessed to have Dr Barbara Ostrov at Hershey since my dx in 2001. She told me at my last app i have to find a new doc so she referred me to this one. After seeing all the fuss about Cleveland clinic i wonder if i should explore that as its just the next state over.
If you're looking for excellent care for GPA/Wegener's, Cleveland Clinic is worth checking out. I see Dr Alexandra Villa Forte there, and I think she's tops. Others on the forum see Dr Carol Langford, who would be strongly recommended as well.
Before you go, you should prepare a complete history of your experience with the disease. My first appointment with Dr Villa Forte lasted almost two hours. My follow ups (every six months) take 30-45 minutes depending on my issues and questions. I always take a written list of questions and a copy of my latest labs.
Good luck!!

I agree with Pete, but John's Hopkins might be a closer option for you. CC, JH, and Mayo are the top three for Vasculitis.
You could also consult with specialists at HUP in Philly, HSS in NYC, or at JHU in Baltimore - these might be closer, and all are in the 16 vasculitis centers in the country. I see Dr Spiera in NYC and he is terrific.

I would recommend my Dr, Peter Merkel, at UPenn hospital in Philadelphia. I drive from VA to Philly to see him. He is very involved in research of GPA. I had sent an email to his staff about possibly have him become my DR and he personally called me on a Saturday evening at 5:00 and agreed to see me on Monday at noon if I could get to Philly. I have no regrets and he has been my GPA dr since then.
