Some of us can't get it because supplies haven't filtered into the hinterlands!

Or there is a limited supply. I am starting to think that they only sent what they did to apeise the public for a time. The rest of us have the flu or will shortly. Thats what i am thinking.

The paper reported there were production problems or some such. As weggies, if it's available and we want it, we can have the shot: compromised immune systems!

I got it on tuesday and except for a very red 2 inch round patch where tha jab was I am feeling fine. No aches or pains or fevers.

That's very good news, Jolanta. I hope it gives you good protection, too.

A little boy I know who is severely immune-compromised got the shot last Sunday, was unusually "hyper" within a few hours, feverish and lethargic by the next morning (and ever since) and by that evening developed severe fluid accumulation in his lungs that they can't get on top of. I hope he'll be okay. He doesn't have a cough reflex, so all that fluid just stays in his lungs. It's always a gamble. I know other immune-compromised kids who got the actual H1N1 flu (before vaccine was available) and are in serious trouble, too. There just aren't any easy answers.
