new meds

Hi all, need some feedback from anyone who is or has been on this drug.
As my ANCA was going up on Imuran, my doc has put me on Mycophenolate mofetil, or Cellcept, as it is usually called.
I'm on 1000mg twice a day. Have been on this drug now for 1month with no side effects ( thank god).
Won't know until September what my results are, I'm guessing my doc will notify me if not good.

Cellcept is the usual third choice for maintenance after Imuran and MTX. Hope it works for you. Otherwise they might move up to RTX which is usual first choice for treatment and often used for maintenance too.

I've been on cellcept,on the same dosage as yourself,for the last seven years without any problems.i hope it works out for you.
