Hi Crew,

I have just got the confirmed kidney biopsy after 4 years. I tried Ritux in past but never seem to completely get rid of all my smptoms. My creatine level has also been 60 which is normal and was told lucky I had the biosy as it showed only 5-10% of vaculitis without granulomas.

So I took the leap of faith from the specialist and had my first cyclo infusion.

At the time my CRP was 140, PR3 was 96 and 90 red blood cells in urine with no casts. Everything a mess and all over the place as you would expect.

I had Meth Pred 3 1g for 2 days then 500mg for 1 day and then 30mg of Pred for a week, then 20mg for week then now down to 17.5mg and dropping every 5 days by 2.5mg.

I am being managed by Renal team now and not the Rheumy guys and my prof seems to want me off steriods much faster than the Rheumy guys ever did.

They started me on 500mg of Myclophenalte twice daily a month ago. He says he wanted to have me get the minimum Cyclo as well.

So question is

Results two weeks after first infusion are:

CRP - 9
PR3 - 10
Blood in urine 20
Creatine still 62.

Is that the normal, slow or faster response to first Cyclo infusion?

I drink cruciferous vegetables twice per day and dont eat gluten, just to help the body.

I hope someone responds to your post because I would be interested to hear others stories.
My mom has MPA and she just finished Rituxan for her first treatment.
She had a one week course of Cytoxan while we waited for the Rituxan approval.
