Turning 50 is not so bad. I have had an awesome weekend and we set off tomorrow for the USA on my Elvis chase.
I'm sure I will find him somewhere :razz:

Before you are diagnosed, you really have no idea what is going on within your body and at some stage your brain plays tricks on you and you have so many things going through your head of what if it is this, or what if I have that. Every one of you know the story, we all know the uncertainty of whether we are going to make it or not.
I'm sad to say, that at 44 years of age, I didn't think that turning 50 was on my bucket list.

I am now looking forward to turning 60 :thumbsup:

Five hour plane delay at Melbourne Airport, due to a computer fault in our plane.
I'm prepared to wait for a new plane - thank you, thank you very much
However, there were those that were still complaining.
Not good enough, it's bad enough that we have to be here 3 hours before departure time and now we have to wait another 5 hours. rah rah rah :mad1:
Stupid people - get on a faulty plane then.

Well the plane finally took off at 11pm Monday and we arrived in Honolulu at 1pm the same day. Gotta love the time zone thingy.

We checked into our hotel on the beach and my husband sat down on the bed - and now he is snoring. Poor boy, so I thought I would check in with everyone.
I better not let him sleep too long though otherwise he will never get used to this time difference thing.

Yes MikeG, 30 seconds is about it, but it is also as much as I need - LOL

It doesn't seem like one year ago that I turned 50 and was about to head to the USA on my Elvis search.
I found him in Hawaii, in Las Vegas and in Memphis. I had such an awesome time, and need to save some funds, to do it all over again.

Thank you for my birthday wishes, and I in turn wish you all happy birthdays, whenever they may be, and lots of pain free days so that you can enjoy your special day.
