Going for my second infusion, Happy Valentines Day

My first infusion was January 17th. Then I got pneumonia. The doctor has been hemming and hawing about starting up again, so I was pretty sure that the second infusion wasn't going to happen. Yesterday, he finally got a hold of the infectious disease guy and the pumunologist. They said as long as the chest x-ray was clear, I was good to go. So I head down for a stat X-Ray. Last night @ 8, the doctor calls me. No word on the X-ray. He told me to go ahead, but that pending the x-ray, it may still get cancelled.

Today, he called at 8:30 and said everything looks good and to proceed. I've felt like I have been in Limbo so long, I am very excited to re-start the infusions.

Hopefully it will go well. Hope all of you have a nice Valentine's Day, I'm spending mine at the Cancer Center :scared:

All went very well, and I am already home. No reactions, it was much quicker this time around.

so are you scheduled for the customary two more infusions?

Yes, next Friday and the following one after that. They also did an ANCA test two weeks ago, and with just the one infusion both the c-ANCA and PR3 had gone down. So I am moving in the right direction.
