The Discovery Channel are calling for those who have vasculitis, to help them
make a series of programmes. They will pay for any specialist care you need, if you appear on the show.

The company is optomen.

I'll put the email address you need to email up here later !

I'm okay for the most part Gwen. Thanks for asking. Though my breathing has been much worse the past couple months. My lung doctor passed away so I am waiting to hear who my new doc will me. The dry winter air is a killer for me. I bought a big new humidifier for the house today to see if that will help.

How are you keeping?

Nice to hear from you, Gwen. The link you provided does not work for me, I am notified that it is "invalid". Hmm. Well, I probably wouldn't have applied anyway, but thought it was interesting to check it out. Phil sounds like a perfect candidate.

It is not a link Anne, it is an email address. I got a response within 10 minutes of sending my message to the email address, from a live human being--WOW!

Mike, I realized it was an email address, but it still did not work for me. I tried it twice or three times and got a message that the "page" I requested was invalid. All I can do is try it again, maybe reset my browser or use a different one or something. I have gmail and Google is who told me it was invalid. This does not usually happen. I will retry it, just to see if it happens again or if it was just some temporary glitch. I guess I could just copy and paste it into my email program but I haven't usually found that to be necessary. Maybe it is in this situation.

You will probably need to cut and paste. If you are using a web based email like Gmail, I'm pretty sure it won't open properly. Cut and paste it in and I am sure it'll work for you that way.

Yep, Mike, I already copied and pasted, and got a response. I have always used web based email addresses and have usually been able to click on a highlighted email address and have it open up in my email program. So as a Weggie, it took me awhile to dawn on me that copy and paste could be the way to go in this situation. Your previous comments helped me realize that, so thanks.

I am too shy for this :blushing: but it is going to be great to see others there ! Alysia, I may also be too shy. Plus my Wegs issues and expenses have been less than for many on here, so far. I realize that could change. I will be interested to see the application and any information about the planned program and what they are looking for in terms of subjects. However, I don't relish the idea of being seen on TV by myself or anyone else.

That's what I meant to say - I feel exactly the same as you Anne.

I do believe that Phil would make an excellent candidate/subject :wink1:
