and of course (like my mom is blessing me every year): "health, health and health".

Ah, I know what the problem was. It was on the news this evening -- the US had a major DOS attack this morning against Amazon, PayPal, and some of the other big players. I suspect Russia was behind it....

The US portion of the internet and the infrastructure for our electrical grid is almost as porous as our southern border. Unfortunately, most intrusions are covered up and we never hear about them, so the proletariat hums along with their head in the sand thinking all is hunky dory. I am quite sure that several unnamed nation states are routinely tapping into our systems and wreaking havoc, stealing secrets, and reading e-mail at the highest levels.
