Lisa (and anyone else who wants to post photos in an album)-

You can post up to 60 photos in an album of your photos or pictures you like by:

1. clicking on either UserCP or Quick Links above

2. click on Pictures & Albums in Networking menu (the last option)

3. click on Add Album

4. fill in the Title and Description boxes, then hit the Submit box

5. hit Click Here To Upload Pictures below the box that comes up after you complete step 4

6. hit Browse box; your computer files will come up

7. locate a photo you want to upload, left-click on it to select it

8. hit Open, which uploads the file; you can upload three at a time as there are three Browse boxes (step 6, above)

While it looks complex, it is fairly straight forward once you've done it. You'll be given the option of making it a public or private album. Anyone who wants to look at it (including you!) needs to:

1. hit Members above

2. use the Locate Member quick search feature by typing in the name the member uses on the forum (for example, I use doug)

3. double-left click on the member's name

4. go to the right side of the member's personal information page, to Mini Statistics, then scroll down till you find Albums

5. double-left click on the album name to open up the album

I'm not aware of any specific way members will know if a member has an album short of the member noting it in a posting, then intyerested members following the five steps immediately above.

Whew! You asked for it. Toyota. Select this posting and click on Copy, Paste this on a MicroSoft Windows Word page, the print it for easier reference when you try this out. I, incidentally, have an album set up, with weird pictures that include many you've seen so far as avatars on my postings.

I knew I wasn't feeling good lately. Could it be that cytoxan has disabled my sense of humor? Now THAT would be an unacceptable side effect. They oughta put warnings on these things.

Two nations divided by a common language!

Sangye - it was all in jest. I thought I had it covered by the inclusion of the Smilie, but the internet is a great tool for creating misunderstandings. :) My comment was actually aimed at Andrew's post.

I enjoyed your quip, that's why I continued the thread! :D

Okay, good. Then disregard the apology I sent via PM. (And to be clear, I didn't send it via your--or anyone else's-- Prime Minister....) :D

Prednisone side effect, you know. Didn't I cover that in any of my videos? Something about being up all day and night, week on end, till the doctor relents and drops your dosage. Yes.:p

(p.s. There isn't enough specificity in the world to overcome the human capacity to misconstrue innocent remarks. Given the high average Prednisone intake of forum participants, there should be considerable international strife, here!) (p.p.s. I don't exclude myself from misconstruning remarks!):):)

Not sure if this is the right place to pose this question as it is an old discussion. I loaded a photo but can't figure out how to use it as my profile pic or avatar? Not sure what I am doing wrong.
Thanks. Inge.

Hi Inge, technically, you should be able to drag the pic into the avatar area and it will take. But, if the pic is too big, then it won't...will just go back to normal. So, if you have a picture editor on your computer, open the pic in there and make it smaller, resave, then drag into avatar pic.

If any of you need a great, small, simple and FREE image editor, check out Irfanview (http://filehippo.com/download_irfanview/)

Noticed you had a profile pic not an avatar pic. Copied the profile pic to your avatar. Was that what you were looking for? There are two places - profile and avatar. The profile pic is on your profile page and the avatar appears when you post.

Thanks Andrew. I had tried to get it there then figured maybe the picture is too big. But looks like you made it work? anyway there is a 2nd much smaller photo there now as well but if the other one works I do prefer it :) Inge
