Hello,
Does anybody takes this pills? I was prescribed to take bonviva for a year. This pill is taken once a month (if it is 150mg, as in my case). The doc tells me it helps bones to absorb calcium better. I have undertaken densitometry procedure in April this year. For those who don't quite understand what it is, this procedure involves some scans of your hand and leg to determine how dense your bones are. I had minor deviation from normal results in my femoral neck. I started in April, so I have already taken 6 pills. Half way through.
And I also take "calcium D3 nykomed" with it (it is calcium and D3 vitamin) 2 pills a day. What is your experience with it, if any?

I take generic Fosomax once a week and think that is pretty common for us Weggies.

I take alfacalcidol which I think is similar to ibandronic acid. I'm also on the Calcichew D3, equivalent to your calcium and D3 vit tabs.

Just remeber you need good oral hygiene when taking ibandronic acid.
