Darn, guess I never should have quit smoking :rolleyes1:

"We report, for the first time, a significantly lowerprevalence of smoking at the onset of vasculitic symptomsas compared with the general population in Germany "

Well that doesn't apply to me, I started smoking when I was aroung 16 and quit the day before I had my partial lobectomy. It's been over 3 years now:thumbup: I can't even stand the smell of it.I wonder if there was ever a test done on marijuana. You would think the cigarettes would be worse.

The information I have seen on marijuana strangely enough does not tend to show an increase in chance of lung cancer. There are conflicting studies.
Even stranger is that cannabis use does not confer a lower cancer rate to cig smokers- meaning that smoking marijuana does not increase your chance of cancer but it does not lower your risk from tobacco.

Personally I think smoking anything is not a good idea if it can be avoided. Cannabis can be used in many forms other than smoking.

I know that Cannabis has been shown to cause stomach and esophagus cancer or at least smokers tend to have a higher rate of these two cancers.
