HI,
I read that many people mentioned the importance of blood tests? What tests should Mom receive? What should we be looking for? What numbers?
How often?

Any help appreciated...
Vickie

Wow Don, your results are looking mighty fine......mighty fine indeed.

It must be all of that coffee.......sheesh :flapper::flapper:

I have most of these tests too (with different results) but I didn't see LFT's in yours (Liver Function Tests)!!

Vickie, your mum should have had most of these blood tests already, whilst she is/was in hospital.

The AST and ALT give info on how your liver is working or handling your meds.

Hi Vickie,
my list of blood tests include: CBC, CRP, ESR, ALT, AST, creatinine, anca-battery.
Im doing them once a month. sometimes less. I have always a referal to blood tests and whenever I start feeling worse, Im doing them. I get some of the results at the same day. some came later. I got them through internet in my "account" in the health service. in that point I have good health service.
