I've always had them. More so these days, though, as the prednisone has caused weight gain my "bags" have gone from an overnight case to a full set of luggage. And it's not just a morning thing.
Short of cucumbers, ladies (or gents), any other suggestions? I'm even willing to check out the Olays and Garniers!

Probably from Wegs but could be a sign of heavy metal toxicity.

Mine are the same David and I have just bought but the garnier and olay products.
I don't wear makeup so I thought I would try the above products but have been too scared too.
My eyes also are affected by WG so I have been reluctant to put any product anywhere near my eyes.
I will become brave one day and actually try them, but for now, they are just sitting in the bathroom cupboard with everything else.

I too would be interested to hear of, maybe, a natural remedy.

Would this toxicity be hospital testing related? Don't know what you're saying, Phil.

No, this would be handled by a holistic doc, propbably a naturopathic doc trained in nutrition.

Your physician can order testing for levels of most things and often do check such things to see if you are short of something in your body. Bags under eyes seem part of residual effects of prednisone puffiness and may remain after moon face and buffalo hump go down. Have you asked any of your doctors for their advice or opinions on this?

This doesn't really address the puffy eyes. But my eyes were so dry I swear my eyelids were sticking to my eyeballs. My eye doc recommended that I increase my Fish oil to 1400 three times a day. This has made my life soooooooooo much better

I tried this after reading your post. The fish oil stings my eyes so I'm going to cut back on it.
I'm kidding. I have sticky eyes too, I will try more fish oil.

Boy , don't we all need the laugh from time to time. Ironically , when we might be in the most trouble.
If I smell like fish I now have someone to blame- Fishwarrior

I use drops every day for dry eye as they were damaged according to the eye specialist when Wegs attacked the eyes. I have got on to a
product called Miessence which is organic with no preservatives or additives. My daughter put me on to it, noticed no more itchy skin and the
puffiness around the eyes alot better. Works for me.
