Well shoot, I blew right past my 10,000th post and didn't realize it until today. (10,251, but who's counting?) I was gonna have a party and hand out cookies. :wink1:

Mostly I want to thank you guys for putting up with such a long-winded, opinionated, nag-you-til-you-scream-Uncle pest like me and letting me dribble on for a whopping 10,000 posts without ever once saying, "OMG will you PLEASE just shut up??" :biggrin1: :w00t:

Thanks from me, too. Without you, the forum would still be pretty good, but it wouldn't be as great as it is.

Wow, I wouldn't like to say that you can sure talk ....... but you can certainly type mighty fine :flapper:

Sangye, without your advice and also the advice from Jack when I first came on this site, I think I would be a total nutter by now.

......So, keep on doing what you love to do whether it be nag, talk, type, Putin and sometimes even get a little mad......you know we luv ya :hug3:

When Sangye writes...people listen. I for one have depended on your advice and found it invaluable. I am most appreciative and this is not a gratuitous statement.

Thanks!!

What everyone else says, Sangye. Besides, it's not just the numbers, or the nags, or even the cookies. As I have said before, and it is just as true now--and you know, coming from me, what a supreme compliment this is--you are the most useful among us. Thank you.

Al

Thanks everyone. Today's 3rd rtx treatment hit me like a ton of bricks so it was really nice to come on here and see your sweet messages. I love you guys. :smile1:

PS: Al, in my opinion everyone here is equally useful. None of us knows the impact of our words. We never know what little tidbit, story or message of support is helping someone. Often I come on here feeling quite defeated and another member posts something that gets me through it.

So very true Sangye. Everyone on here is like gold to the power of a zillion. The Forum for me is a true blessing.

What an amazing mentor you have turned out to be. I panic when you are off for a bit and find myself guessing what you would do. We are blessed with your ability to be long winded in Cyper space and yes even the nagging is appreciated.

I'm hoping you still plan on baking those cookies!!! I like snickerdoodles

Sangye

Mmmmm, snickerdoodles.

Lightwarrior, what about our diets?! Well, I guess a few walks around the block could work off the calories from a snickerdoodle.

Sangye

Now look. I'm not baking a bunch of snickerdoodles just to have you each eat one. You gotta eat a LOT. So count on putting some miles on those shoes!

annekat

Maybe we could freeze them.....? No that doesn't seem right. Guess we'll just have to eat snickerdoodles and nothing else until they are gone!:tongue1:

Sangye
06-21-2012, 01:16 PM
LOL I love the "No that doesn't seem right." There is snickerdoodle protocol, after all.

I'm sorry......I had to google what a snickerdoodle was

Sounds like yumm in a little cookie  I love cinnamon

So how do you send them to Australia without them breaking......because I want in on this little cookie adventure, pleease

Sangye

Snickerdoodles are so good, even if they arrive in crumbs you will gobble them up. That's how spoons were invented.

Oh, yeah, well guess what snickerdoodles have no calories if you turn around 3 times throw salt over your left shoulder and say yummm.

Sangye
06-22-2012, 11:36 AM
Yes, and there's also a hypothesis floating around out there that if you turn around 10 times you actually BURN more calories than you consume in the snickerdoodles. :wink1:

I never knew what a snickerdoodle was until they were served to us in the school cafeteria. I think they made pretty good ones. There's the cinnamon combined with sort of an eggy taste, and I'm not sure what else, but yeah, they are yummy. Not sure when I last had one.

Lightwarrior, I like your thinking. Whenever I eat something that is supposedly bad for me I alweays say it ok to eat it whenever that day of the week is that particular date (Ie the bar of chocolate I ate this afternoon was good for me because on any Friday that is 21st June then one loses weight not put it on).
