My mother keeps trying to get me to try this. Has any one tryed it and what ya think of it..

All I know is that I ate plenty of nopales in Mexico (we called them prickly pears), and enjoyed them a lot. The are low in carbohydrates (good for diabetes), and high in fiber (good for the intestines). And they are delicious. Have never seen them where I live, however. I have heard that pills of same are available, but I can't vouch for them in that form; I prefer food as food, myself.
