Today is my last day of 1mg Prednisone! It's been 4 years - the last 2 struggling to come off it, but here I am. Been feeling good since 5mg during the summer, so I think the strangest thing is going to be waking up tomorrow, and remembering that I don't have to take it! I've already reorganized my pill box - hoping this message doesn't jinx anything.

Wow! I would love to have to remember NOT to take a pill/tablet. All fingers and toes crossed that all goes well.

Gurinder,

Congrats! I wish you all the luck in staying of the prednisone and that you never need it again.

i hope that I will be there in a couple of months.

Take care and hope that your mom is doing well. I think of her often and just met with Binda a couple of days ago and got updated on everyone.

Take care!

Like I said on FB Gurinder, I'm so thrilled and happy for you. It made me cry when we were chatting about this on FB... tears of joy that is. Big hugs to you and may you never see that wretched drug again.

Hey - thanks everyone!! It's all going well - main thing is that I'm still feeling good - something I haven't felt in 4 years. Sometimes I feel like a kid that's doing something wrong - you know how they get all quiet - and I'm just waiting to be shouted at because it just feels too good to be true!!! Looking forward to hearing from the rest of you who'll be joining me in a few months. The hearing loss is still my biggest challenge, but gotta make the most of what we do have.

Had a great day yesterday celebrating my baby girl's sweet sixteen! Still on Methotrexate 25mg a week and on the septra 3x/week, so looks like this much is keeping me stable - was in January of this year I had the Rituxan but so far last 5 months of "normal" bloodwork made me qualify to do these "normal" things in life again.

Take care
Gurinder
