Please help me find a wegeners specialist in FL.

I need a Wegeners specialist in FL. I remember someone advising me of one in Tallahasee but I can't find the forum. Any suggestion of one near by.

Maria, the Vasculitis Foundation lists Dr. Lee (below) in Jacksonville as one of their consultants. This means that he would consult with your own doctor for no charge. And he is with the Mayo Clinic, which is top-notch. Alternatively, if Jacksonville is within range, you can make an appointment at the that Mayo Clinic branch yourself, asking for a vascultitis expert. Of course, there are surely other specialists in Florida; others on the forum must know a few.

I am not sure where you are, but I love Christine Savage. She is through UM and is great. She does not specialize in GPA, but is a Rhumey.

I seemed to move right when doctors were starting to come to Florida. There is a new doctor that just finished his fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. He has experience with Weg's and someone on the facebook group said she saw him and really liked him. His name is Dr. Yih Chang Lin and is with the University of South Florida now.

Victor's (blu4runner) doctor, Michael Indelicato, recently relocated to Boca Raton. He said he only had a few patients with weg's but was a great doctor. You can always send him a message on here and get more info or ask questions... he might have the doctor's contact info so you can personally ask the doctor questions to see if he'd be a good fit for you.

I'm sure Dr. Lee at Mayo in Jacksonville would be a good one to see since he is listed on the VF website.
