Bad day and thinking its only gonna get worse

For the last two months I have had no signs of WG and doc said I was in remission but for the last two days I have had the horrible headaches, joint pains, and not able to function because I am soooo tired:mad1:. I am going to call the DR Monday morning. I really am hoping its the flu. I was sooo looking foreward to the surgery to fix the saddle nose but I have to be in remission for four months. I hate this stupid disease. I just want to go back to being able to hear, look and feel like my self. I want to hide in bed for a few more days and give up.

I'm sorry you're having a rough day. It would be frustrating to feel like you're having a flare when you have so many other things you want to do. it feels weird saying this, but here's to hoping you have the flu!

I hope it's just the flu and you are feeling better next week. The symptoms of a flare mimic so many other things it always so hard to tell, which is very frustrating about WG. Pamper yourself a little and rest. :)

Hello mama2005, i agree with Shannon, i hope it's the flu, do pamper yourself and get lots of rest, but be sure to drink lots of fluids (healthy fluids that is ;-). i just got over a nasty little cold 2 weeks ago, it took longer for me to fight it off than usual, but i did get a chance to get my revenge and kick it to the curve.

Hey mama, NO giving up...not even on the radar...OK? If this is a flare then you will do what you need to do...you've been there before, you will have to do it again...if it is the flu...then congrats, but be careful and take very good care...I wish you the best mama!

Don't give up!! It could be just the dreaded common cold. I was sure I was flaring a couple of weeks ago, and after about 3 days I figured out it was a cold. Still trying to get rid of the stuffy sinuses, but feeling much better.

Heading to the doctors tomorrow. Still feel misarable and to add I have a rash. I have never had rashes with WG though.

I have spots that are about the size of a dime and they almost look like blisters but they feel bumppy

You need to have this checked out. Pupura is a sign of vasculitis and most likely means that you are flaring. Do you have a Wegs specialist?

Mama...sorry I didn't see this before. I had almost the exact same kind of rash. I also go to the CC so I'm pretty sure you are in good hands. I did have to bump my meds back up due to my flare and had an RTX infusion as well, but things seem to be mostly back under control now.

Same here, all over my face, chest and spreading. My are like tiny little bumps under the skin and yesterday my ear started to bleed. Can hardly type my joint pain is so bad. Good luck mama2005.

CT scan, blood work, throat scope and a long day at the doctors show that I am starting back on medicine and that I am going to have to wait for my surgery. Heading back to bed and maybe spending the day there.
