Very good article, drz. I have a number of these signs and symptoms but no COPD. I think my lungs have just taken a beating!

I cant open it :(

The top one still works for me but bottom one didn't so they must have taken it down already.

ok, so its not just me, but this is helpful. rightnow I have my chest tube in and I have and air leek My surgeon didnt want to take it out, says with the pred healing rate is to be considered. I started having problems, blew my stitches and have a college orientation to go to this week so as a compromised he agreed to try and kink the line. If my lung stays up 4 the x-ray in the morning i'm good to have it taken out but now I have air coming out of my side when I cough. It has been so long I don't know what its like to not have shortness of breath and I can't tell how I'm doing.

Hope things go well for you. Recovering from surgery can be tricky under the best of circumstances. but your youth should be a great asset in your recovery.

You are in a tough spot Rini. I can tell by your words you are worried and frustrated. We are all here to listen and offer support. You will get through this and it will get better. What you went through takes a long time to heal.

I get to talk to you guys and my fam is full of AI's. It is a lot but I have lots of people to turn to. being a bagpipe feels more then a little strange but If the air is coming out of the injury then it was in the lung to start with. I am taped like a mummy apposed to restitching. I just dont want to worry about having the tube yanked on or infection of carying a box that looks like its full of pee @ orientation. The every 4 hr pain killers complicate sleep and make it hard 2 finish a book but if those are my big problems then I am having a good week ya? Maybe everyone could have like a reunion or i suppose union conference thing this summer?

Rini, I'm sorry you're having complications. I hope the temporary fix works and you can go to your orientation without trouble. Make sure you get a lot of rest. More than you think you need. :wink1:

Hang in there Rini, that was my concern too about the chest tube. With all the immunosuppressants were on causes us to heal slower. Your so strong and positive! Take an easy and keep reading!
