Just some news

I havent been here awhile so I don't know who is still active fromt the users I used to know. I just felt like I had to come back and do a little closure if anyone was wondering what is new about my condition.
I hope everyone is doing fine and hopefully somebody got off the medications. Anybody?
I'm doing excellent, I'm soon to be off prednisone (during summer probably) and that is the only medication I'm taking. I'm on 10mg every other day. Haven't had any issues ever since. My doc said that I am in remission which I achieved 6 months after starting the whole therapy.
That's about it.

Thanks everyone for your support. a lot of things are to be done this summer: graduation, college etc.. I really hope I'll stay in remission as long as possible. wish everyone all the best too. Is anyone else getting better? I remember Sangye saying six months ago (I'm not sure if it's six or less) she got a relaps and had to go on prednisone again, but I read yesterday somewhere on the forums that you're on 2mg or something like that? How come so fast? I'm happy for you Sangye :)

I've been back on pred for the past 2 years. I think you're referring to about 6 months ago when the rtx stopped working and things began to flare. I did another round of rtx in February but it was the 2-infusion protocol and didn't seem to work. I'm just starting the 4-infusion protocol this week. The past 6 months have been pretty awful. And the 6.5 years before that! LOL

It makes me really happy to hear you're graduating and going on to college. Woot! :w00t:
