Has anyone taken any Immune support supplements? Are they ok to take?

No, they are definitely not okay to take. They will send the immune system in the wrong direction and oppose the drugs. It's very frustrating, to say the least.

I took some when on a trip to South Africa cause I have poor health and didn't want to gt sick there. I was not yet diagnosed but think my symptoms started to get worse after I returned home and it might have been due to the immune boosters. My family thought I caught some exotic disease in Africa but doctors never did figure out it was GPA till many months later.

Hey drz, thatīs the first time I see someone mention this shortening here on the forum.

I forgot to write it down here it, but during the patient-congress last month that I visited,
this new shortage for Wegenerīs was announced.

Where did you hear or read this?
Is this new abbreviation already common in the States?

Sorry. It's ten minutes later...
I now found the link you placed in the thread 'A new name for...'

From what I heard on the patient-congress,
the new name for Wegener's will be written as follows,

Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis (Wegener's)

with the name Wegener's put between brackers, as kind of a changeover or transistion.

I wonder if this forum is going to be renamed as well.
Andrew? :wink1:
