Hello all,
I had a great day at Mayo, by 9 am I had blood drawn, urine sample done and a chest xray. I then went to pulmonology floor to do the dreaded breathing tests. Ugh! After that, I met with the throat specialist and he put the scope down my nose and into my throat. My Subglottic Stenosis is way worse than before. I am breathing out of a small straw. My nose and throat were also infected, their was gross green and yellow mucous. They took pics of my throat to show the wegs dr. I explained to the throat dr that I wanted to have surgery done the sooner the better, he agreed but wants me to see Dr Specks first because Wegs is not under control. I see Dr Specks tomorrow, I will find out from him my lab results etc. I am so excited to see him and see how to proceed. I don't think I have ever had the wegs under control so this is a big change for me. I have ALOT of questions to ask him.
Just FYI, Mayo is awesome! Very efficient, very helpful and kind. I will update tomorrow after seeing Dr. Specks.
Take care everyone!:rolleyes1:
