I was diagnosed with limited wegener's May 08. My condtions have been all over the place from great to feeling like the old Mack truck ran over me. My problems are mostly sinus. I never know if it's just a bad cold or the wegener's. I know a CBC will help tell so how often should it be done?

Your treating rheumatologist can best decide this after reviewing your records and treatment history. What are they recommending for you. If you are real stable with no symptoms you might get by with quarterly checks, if things are moving quickly with problems requiring close treatment it can be as often as daily. If you have symptoms that warrant concern they can order extra tests in a timely manner.

I got rituxan in April 2010 then again in august. Started it again 3 weeks ago but my 3rd treament this time was canceled do to my sinus & chest problems. Doc gave me a dose pack. So, is it wegeners, the flu (felt like it) bad cold, just a sinus infection( we all heard that) or who the heck knows

So how often are you having lab work done?

I usually get lab work about every couple months. My WBC is staying at around 3.90 which is where my doc likes it. But I wonder with it low like this it's why I just cannot shake the sinus problems. When I say problems I'v had them all.

You shouldn't have to figure this out. That's a job for a Wegs specialist. If you're not able to travel to one, you can ask your doc to consult with a VF doc for free.

It's exhausting to jump through hoops when you're not feeling good. Believe me, I know! Where are you stuck? Maybe we can help.

I have one more dose of the antibotic. Then back next wed. for my 3rd infusion of RTX. I have a list of questions for doc this trip. I got in a rut thinking I was gonna have a bad cold the rest of life. I know I gotta fight on. As far as helping me sangye, you already have. A bunch. Along with all the members who post. I try to read them all. I'm just a man of fews words. Thus I seldom post. Now If I get cured next week i will absoulutly post that.ha ha
